About Decks

Decks is a library of mobile interface screens captured from real iGaming operators, classified and published by OptimizeXL. This page says who publishes it, what it is, and how to reach a person about something on it.

Who publishes Decks

Decks is built, operated and published by OptimizeXL, the same company behind optimizexl.com. It is not a community project, a syndication of someone else’s dataset, or an affiliate site under another name: the screens are our own captures and the classifications are produced by our own pipeline.

Editorial responsibility for what these pages say sits with OptimizeXL. If something here is wrong, the route is /corrections, and the person who answers it works for us.

What Decks is

Decks holds mobile interface screens from iGaming operators — the screens a real player sees: the lobby, the cashier, the sign-up form, the identity check, the bonus pop-up, the loyalty tiers. We capture them ourselves, from the operators’ own live products, and we classify each screen against fixed vocabularies so that the library can be searched by what is on a screen rather than by who made it.

It exists because the people who design and market these products — product teams, CRO and lifecycle people, designers, agencies — have no other way to see what the rest of the market actually ships. Screenshots behind a signup wall are invisible from the outside.

Decks is sold as a subscription. Some of the library is open to anyone, some needs an account, and full-resolution screens and the analysis products are paid. What you can read without paying is not a different set of facts from what a subscriber reads.

What these pages are not

These are descriptive analysis pages about interface design. They are not an advertisement for any operator, not a recommendation to gamble with anyone, and not an endorsement of anything we show. We describe what an interface does; we take no view on whether you should use it.

Gambling is 18+ and it carries real risk. If gambling is causing you or someone else harm, help is available and it is free — in the UK through BeGambleAware, and elsewhere through your national support service.

We publish no traffic, ranking, revenue or player-number figures on this site. We do not measure them, so we do not report them. Nothing on Decks should be read as an estimate of how big an operator is or how well it is doing.

What we hold, and how far it goes

Everything on Decks rests on two things: an image we captured, and a label a model put on it. Both have limits, and we would rather you knew them before you cited us.

  • One date, and it is not the capture date. We hold the date a screen entered our library. We do not hold the date it was captured, so an interface may have looked like that earlier than the date we show.
  • Six families of field are written by a vision model, not by a person: device, vertical, screen type, licence marking, brand, and the written description of the screen. The model is instructed to return nothing rather than guess below 70% confidence, so every count we publish is a floor, not a census.
  • The library is a sample of what an operator showed, not a complete record of any flow.

All three, and the rest of it — the vocabularies, the caveats, what we can and cannot say about a licence marking — are set out in full on our methodology page.

Contact

Use the contact form on optimizexl.com. It reaches the people who decide what is published here.

If you are reporting something we have got wrong — a misclassified screen, a screen attributed to the wrong operator, a licence marking read incorrectly, a description that misstates what is on the image — please use /corrections instead. It tells you what to include and what happens next, and it is read as a correction rather than as general mail.
